Butte College’s Student Equity Program is committed to fostering diversity, inclusion, and equity while promoting a campus learning environment that encourages and supports all students in persisting toward their educational goals by increasing their retention and graduation rates. The Student Equity Program champions the rights of all students to meaningful educational opportunities and works to define and secure the full range of resources, supports, and services necessary to provide these opportunities to disproportionately impacted students.
The Student Equity Program also provides leadership and accountability to resolve systemic inequities for all Butte College students through engaged research, community outreach, professional development, and by expanding pathways for access and success and promoting a healthy and engaging campus climate.
The QRC provides Advocacy services for those experiencing harassment. Please see “Students Rights under Title IX” for more information about how you may be protected. The QRC also provides access to Stonewall counseling right here on Main campus.
Mental Health Counseling can be accessed via the Student Health Center. All services mentioned above are free.
The Culture and Community Center advocates for, and empowers Butte College’s diverse
community by providing educational programs and cultural events in a safe and interactive
environment where people gather to learn about themselves and others.

The UndocuStudent Support Center serves undocumented students and students who come from a mixed-status family household by connecting them to institutional support or community services. Our center supports our undocumented student population through: Community outreach, ally trainings for faculty and staff, campus events, and direct student support. Our center’s programs and activities are designed to increase undocumented student retention, persistence, and completion at Butte College.
